2015 Local Christmas Appeal

It is a pleasure to launch the second annual Local Christmas Appeal to support those in need over the festive season!

All proceeds from this year will again be going directly to the Norwood Salvation Army, after a great success in 2014.

The Norwood Salvation Army continues to do a great job in our local community supporting hundreds of individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet.

This Local Christmas Appeal would not be going ahead without the support of local residents, community organisations, schools and businesses so I am

asking you all to dig deep and donate some items that will brighten up Christmas for someone less fortunate.

Suggestions of what to donate include:

  • Any non-perishable food items;
  • Christmas puddings and cakes
  • Good quality clothing;
  • Toys;
  • Blankets and bedding;
  • Toiletries; and
  • Store gift cards.

Alternatively, you are welcome to make a cash donation with cheques to be made payable to The Salvation Army.

Donations can be dropped off to my office at U2, 90-94 The Parade, Norwood until 5pm Monday 21th December 2015. When dropping off your donation,

don’t forget to sign the 2015 Local Christmas Appeal sheet which I will present to the Norwood Salvation Army.

If you have any questions about the Local Christmas Appeal please do not hesitate to contact my office on (08) 8363 9111.

Thank you in advance for your support, your generosity will certainly make a difference to those who are doing it tough this Christmas.

I hope to see you over the festive season.
