August Out and About

It was another cold morning this year for Walk a Mile in my Boots, raising much needed funds for the homeless in South Australia. To date, a huge $96,000 has been raised, all thanks to the 3,000 people that attended the walk. It was great to see so many people wake up early and get involved in this cause that affects so many people here in South Australia.

The Payneham RSL commemorated the 50-year Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Day and Battle of Long Tan earlier this month. Vietnam Veterans Day is celebrated on the 18th of August each year, originally known as Long Tan Day. It was an honour to lay a wreath at the service.

Lastly, I would like to congratulate all those South Australian's who participated in the 2016 Rio Olympics. The State Liberal Team and myself are all so proud of your efforts.
