The Weatherill Labor Government has today released its fourth O-Bahn plan in four years, continuing the trend of chaotic infrastructure projects overseen by Labor.
In the past few days alone, South Australians have seen:
- The fourth O-Bahn plan in four years;
- The location of the new CBD high school changed from what was originally promised; and,
- Another design plan announced for the old RAH site.
“There’s a price to pay for the Weatherill Labor Government’s chaos and it comes in the form of tax bills,” said State Liberal Leader Steven Marshall.
“South Australians are paying more tax every year because Premier Weatherill and his Labor colleagues run a chaotic government.
“How can South Australians even trust the Weatherill Labor Government to deliver the O-Bahn project when it has changed the plan four times in the past four years?
“The Weatherill Labor Government has form in failing to deliver infrastructure projects on time and on budget.
“Labor have shown time and time again that it cannot be trusted to deliver what it promises.
“Will this be the final O-Bahn plan? Who knows?
“This ongoing chaos provides no certainty for South Australians or potential investors and local businesses.
“South Australians need an injection of confidence, not more chaos and indecision from Premier Weatherill and his Government.”
