On Monday 4th November I hosted the Dunstan Heritage Forum at the Norwood Concert Hall with more than 60 passionate residents in attendance. The Hon. Stephan Knoll MP, Minister for Planning and Michael Lennon, State Planning Commissioner outlined and discussed the proposed changes to the State Planning Laws with particular reference to heritage and contributory items.
I know that planning and heritage are issues of concern to many people in the local Dunstan community and that is why it was important to hold this event so that people were granted an opportunity to be informed and have their questions answered. As always, I encourage local constituents to contact my Dunstan Electorate Office if they have further questions related to planning and heritage. Please be advised that public consultation on Phase Two (rural areas) and Phase Three (urban areas) of the draft Planning and Design Code is now open. Don't forget that you now have an opportunity to have your say.
