The Greener Neighbourhoods Grants program provides funding for metropolitan councils to improve the livability of our city through increased greenery, reduced urban heat and an improved natural environment. As well as contribute to improvements in community health and well being and urban biodiversity.
Thanks to these grants nearly 10,000 trees and shrubs are being planted across metropolitan Adelaide and with our multi-million dollar expansion of the program in the 2021-22 State Budget will result in the planting of thousands more.
Applications opened the beginning of this month and close Friday 10 September 2021. For further information on this grant please visit the Green Adelaide website here.
