LGBTIQ+ Youth Grants Now Open

LGBTIQ+ Youth Grants Now Open

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is offering a program of small grants for not-for-profit community and/or volunteer organisations to improve the inclusion, wellbeing and quality of life for LGBTIQ+ young South Australians.

LGBTIQ+ specific organisations, as well as mainstream organisations that reach young people aged 12–25 years, are encouraged to apply.

The one-off grant aims to respond to the voices of LGBTIQ+ young people to:

  • resource programs, services and support groups
  • ensure programs, services and support groups are accessible to, and informed by, people with lived experience.

Small grants of up to $5,000 will be made available for eligible organisations who deliver services or support to the SA community. Applicants must be registered and operating within South Australia and be an eligible organisation with an ABN.

Applications close 12pm, Monday 29 April 2019.

Notification of the results is expected in May 2019.

Further information, including the grant guidelines, is available on the DHS website.
