Park n Ride for Paradise Interchange

If elected in March 2018, a Marshall Liberal Government will build a multi-storey Park n Ride facility at Paradise Interchange with over 300 car parks.

The Problem

The Paradise Interchange provides vital transport services for the north-east but it has been hindered greatly by a lack of parking.

The O-Bahn is used by around 30,000 people each week day but by about 8.00 am people wanting to access services from the Paradise Interchange are being forced into an overflow carpark or onto nearby streets.

This puts commuters at risk as they exit their vehicles during peak hour traffic as well as creating congestion and traffic flow issues in neighbouring streets.

Labor promised to build a Park n Ride before the last election but then broke that promise and still refused to fund this vital piece of infrastructure in its recent budget update.

Meanwhile, Nick Xenophon hasn’t listened to local commuters and has publicly opposed investments to improve the O-Bahn network.

The community deserves better.

Paradise Interchange Carpark

If elected in March 2018, a Marshall Liberal Government will build a multi-storey Park n Ride facility at Paradise Interchange with over 300 car parks.

By providing a $7.5 million investment a Marshall Liberal Government will ensure there is convenient parking for commuters, while also reducing congestion on nearby local streets.
