The Payneham RSL Veterans Well-Being Centre will be conducting an Arts Group running every Tuesday (excluding school holidays) starting at 10:30am and will finish no later than 1:30pm. As this event will be run over lunch time, you will be required to provide your own lunch, however there will be coffee and tea provided. The focus of this groups is to make quilts for the homeless veterans from next winter, with the remainder of quilts to be given to either the Salvation Army or the Red Cross.
This group is open to all members of the Veterans and the wider community. What the activities will consist of will be firstly Beading and needle work, and then from there it will be decided what will be conducted.
The initial cost for this activity will be provided by the Payneham RSL membership, however if further items are required a small donation will be requested to purchase these items.
It will also be a child friendly activity with access to all the Payneham RSL children’s facilities.
Point of contact for this will be Scott Jeffrey via email on [email protected]
