A win for the Dunstan community!
I am pleased to update you on the progress for improving the safety and access at the junction of O G Road and Turner Street, Felixstow.
Works are scheduled to commence in early August and the project is anticipated to be completed by early November, weather permitting. Works will be undertaken as day and night works, however there will be no construction on public holidays.
This was a significant local commitment that I took to the 2018 State Election as the safety and access issues of this junction were raised with me on numerous occasions.
All roads will remain open to traffic, with a 25km/h speed restriction in place while workers are on-site. There will be lane and other speed restrictions may apply, subject to the onsite conditions. Motorists are advised to take care when driving through this area. The Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) will ensure that access to properties will be maintained.

Day works will occur between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday each week. Night works will occur between the hours of 6pm and 6am, from Sunday evening to Friday morning each week.
